Applications have just opened for the KCL Pro Bono Mediation Project‘s yearly Meditation Training with 218 Strand, which is approved and recognized by the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators as well as the Civil Mediation Council and the usual professional bodies. This is an amazing opportunity to not only become an accredited Civil and Commercial Mediator, but also to develop invaluable transferable skills for future employers (legal or otherwise), including learning how to settle disputes and conflicts effectively. PSU volunteers at the West London Family Court are trained to give assistance to people who, for various reasons, don’t have lawyers but need practical and emotional support.
